China And Kazakhstan To Enhance Bilateral Relations

Chinese President Hu Jintao continues his visit to Kazakhstan. He met with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev on Monday to discuss ways to push the two countries ties to a higher level. Both sides should expand cooperation on trade, economy and energy.

A grand ceremony was held to welcome Chinese President visit in the Kazak capital Astana. Hu Jintao held talks with Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan and other senior officials, hoping to make plans to further develop bilateral relations. Both parties are expected to sign economic cooperation agreements ranging from trade and environmental protection. Energy cooperation is also likely to top the agenda between resource-rich countries and most of the world's energy consumers.
