Nicolas Sarkozy attacked by man in the crowd.

A man in a crowd grabbed French President Nicolas Sarkozy by the shoulder and nearly knocked him to the ground before being tackled by security officers and detained.

Unusually aggressive incident occurred when the president shook hands with the crowd in the south-west France, Brax.

The attacker was not armed, according to national police forces. An official with the service said that 32 years old Frenchman, living in the Lot-et-Garonne region and work in the theater business. Officer had no right to be publicly identified due to police policy. The man was arrested nearby and is being questioned by Agen.
