Australia Prime Minister, Julia Gillard has refused to respond to the spiritual figure in Tibet, the Dalai Lama, visits his country - to attract criticism from political opponents of the Labour government and even allies the Greens.



Ban Ki Moon Called Access Humanitarian SYRIA

UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon urged the Syrian leader to allow access of humanitarian access to the country. Ban commented on his arrival in Argentina during his campaign for a second term. He also said the deadly attacks against the government demonstrators "horrific".

He said: "I once again urge President Assad in Syria, so that humanitarian access to affected areas and the Human Rights Council. - The power to assess the mission, which on two cases I have urged him to accept the missions."




Obama Arrives In Puerto Rico

Obama's brief Tuesday visit to the capital of Puerto Rico was the first official trip to the republic by a sitting president since JFK.
