India, Germany To Work On Nuclear Safety

Germany has agreed to assist India in matters relating to nuclear safety and promised to support the development of renewable energy.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, while addressing a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in New Delhi on Tuesday, said that every effort must be made to ensure that all safety standards for the generation and use of nuclear energy is a "world class".

We talk about the practices for the top IMF job goes to Europe, Singh challenged the Western monopoly on international institutions and argued that the best person available, regardless of nationality, must obtain the coveted position.

Yemen crisis - The President Injured in Attack

Ali Abdullah Saleh, President of Yemen, who was injured in the attack against the presidential palace in the capital, Sanaa, is in good condition and in good health.

The president was taken to the hospital of the Ministry of Defence for treatment of minor injuries, authorities said.
