Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has announced the dissolution of the House of Representatives, a move that paves the way for a general election on July 3rd.
He made the announcement on state television on Monday night after King Bhumibol Adulyadej approved the dissolution decree. The dissolution takes effect on Tuesday.
